5:00 – 5:15 pm: Short introduction and presentation about our university, our CORE teaching principle, and how to apply
5:15 – 6:00 pm: 3 separate lectures showcasing the style of our Business and Management lectures at SRH as well as our interactive and hands-on teaching method:
>> Lecture on Legal Cases in the Tourism and Event Industry
Happy Event & Bon Voyage? Everyday court cases of the tourism and event industry, illustrated by real-life cases, which will be examined and discussed (lecture in German).
With Prof. Dr. Alex Baumgärtner, the head of studies for International Tourism and Event Management, professor of law, and working lawyer. In his legal practice, he specialises in travel law, labour law, damages and tort law.

Introduction to Business Psychology (lecture in German or English): Presentation of potential careers for business psychologists based on case studies (e.g. employer branding, recruiting, staff selection, human resource development, coaching, health promotion).
With Prof. Dr. Franziska Schölmerich, head of studies for the Business Coaching and New Work Organisational Development MBA at SRH. As a consultant and trainer, she has been examining modern, future-oriented forms of work and advising companies and organisations as an expert in New Work, not just since Covid.

Variable costs vs. fixed costs: What they are and how they can drive your company’s performance, or lead to business risks (lecture in English).
With Prof. Dr. Jacek Welc, Professor of Corporate Finance, specialising in risk management, analysis of historical financial statements, company valuation, and cash flow analysis.
6:00 – 6:30 pm: Q&A with professors, students, and study advisors
