Life in Gera

We - the state-recognized SRH University of Applied Sciences for Health - were founded in 2006 in Gera, in the middle of beautiful Thuringia. In its first year, the university had around 80 students, spread across a total of four degree programs. Since then, the university has been writing a success story, with over 1,400 students now studying in 19 accredited bachelor's and master's degree programs, at a total of 13 campuses and study centers nationwide. In this way, we are making an active contribution to a healthy society.
