FAQ

  • How does the Coronavirus affect admissions?

Due to the current situation, the winter semester 2021 and the coming semesters will be taught in a hybrid model. For you, this means that you will have on-campus seminars as well as online seminars. By implementing this study mode, we can ensure that hygiene measures, such as distancing between individual persons, are implemented correctly and that you, your fellow students, teachers and staff are protected.

However, since no one yet knows what the situation will look like in the upcoming months, we are also prepared to offer teaching in a blended learning format (online teaching + independent study). This way, you can continue your studies without any concern, you won't lose any time and you will continue to be in constant contact with professors and fellow students. We successfully applied this style of teaching during the summer semester of 2020 in an effort to provide our students with the best possible learning experience and service. More information
  • Is there an application deadline?

There are no application deadlines for our study programmes.

If you are an international candidate (who needs to apply for a student visa), we recommend that you apply at least four months before the start of your studies in order to have enough time to make the necessary visa and travel arrangements.

Please contact the German Embassy in your home country to enquire about the next available visa appointments.
