Overview
Developing identities for brands and companies. Experiment with graphics, photos, film and interactive media. The Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design is the design degree programme that enables you to master the entire spectrum of visual communication.
Our environment is shaped by communication and permeated by design. Whether as graphics, photography, film, text or interactive user interface: how a message is communicated is decisive for how we perceive it.
On the B.A. Communication Design degree programme, you will immerse yourself in the diverse forms of representation and communication in contract communication with a focus on visual media and interaction. You will acquire a variety of design techniques and plenty of conceptual know-how as a solid foundation.
You will learn how to express messages visually and use classical graphic design, analogue and digital photography, film and the web in a meaningful way. Your curriculum includes design methodology, advertising psychology, typography, design ethics, illustration techniques, film and interactive media.
You will develop style and the knowledge of why something is visually appealing. You will also have the opportunity to develop an individual profile in the areas of editorial design, photography, film and animation, illustration and creative coding.
